Make better investment decisions and get more return as complexity grows
For senior leaders, founders and CEOs responsible for growth through product, technology, digital, and transformation who want to make the right choices about where to invest as complexity increases.
Growth changes what leadership requires
As organizations grow and transform, leadership and decision-making need to evolve with them. You may already be leading in an environment where complexity has increased significantly.Or your organization may be growing quickly and you can see that the way you lead and make decisions will need to develop as more people, functions and perspectives become involved. In both situations, the underlying shift is similar. The decisions you are responsible for become more interconnected and harder to make from one point of view.Customer insight and organizational knowledge are spread across more places.Different people naturally see different parts of the reality, while no one person, including you as the leader, can hold the whole picture anymore. This brings up questions, such as:Are we investing in the right initiatives, technologies, and solutions? Are we putting our money, time, attention, expertise and energy where they can create the greatest value for our customers and therefore us?Are we seeing enough of the picture before we make the call to accelerate growth or or are we relying too much on how we have done things before? For some leaders, these questions arise because familiar patterns are already creating friction.Priorities compete. Important choices take longer than they should. Decisions get reopened. Ownership becomes unclear. Keeping work moving across functions starts to require more and more leadership coordination. For others, those patterns may only be emerging, but as the organization grows, the risk is that ways of thinking and deciding that worked well at an earlier stage stop scaling with the business. The leadership challenge is therefore not simply to keep making good individual decisions. It is to become better at bringing the right perspectives and knowledge into the picture, making sense of what they reveal, exercising judgment and creating enough direction and ownership for others to move.
The economic cost of decision friction

If shared thinking and decision-making capabilities don't evolve in an organization as complexity increases, the economic consequences can be significant.McKinsey research involving more than 1,200 business leaders found that 61% said at least half of the time spent making decisions in their organizations was ineffective. For a typical Fortune 500 company, McKinsey estimated that ineffective decision-making could account for around 530,000 days of managers' time and roughly $250 million in wasted labor costs every year. The numbers will naturally look different in a smaller organization, but the underlying cost is the same: leadership time and capacity are being consumed without creating corresponding value. And that is only the cost of making decisions. The potentially much greater cost comes from what those decisions cause the organization to invest in.Product development provides a striking example. In a study of feature usage across 615 software products, Pendo found that 80% of features in the average software product were rarely or never used, while an average of just 12% of features generated 80% of daily usage.Rarely used does not automatically mean unnecessary or without value. But the numbers illustrate an important point: building and delivering more does not necessarily mean creating more customer value. The quality of the choices made before execution matters enormously. As AI makes it possible to build, analyze, create and execute increasingly quickly, that judgment becomes even more important.Speed does not create value if money, time, expertise and energy are being directed toward the wrong problem, opportunity or solution. For founders and CEOs, this is fundamentally also a capital allocation question. As the business grows, your ability to decide where company and investor capital should go, which opportunities deserve investment now and which do not, directly affects how effectively that capital is turned into customer value and sustainable growth. For leaders in more established organizations, the same principle applies to the significant resources already being committed to product, technology, innovation, transformation and growth. The cost of decision friction therefore shows up in two places:In the time, energy and leadership capacity consumed by making, coordinating and revisiting decisions. And in the return lost when the organization invests its resources in things that create less value than they could.
This is what the Leadership Growth System changes
The Leadership Growth System helps you bring more of the relevant picture into the decisions that matter, without expecting you to personally know or carry everything. You learn to recognize the patterns shaping outcomes, draw on perspectives and intelligence from across the organization, and use them to strengthen your own judgment about where to focus, what to invest in and what to leave behind. The system combines human leadership with AI-supported thinking.AI helps connect distributed knowledge, surface patterns, challenge assumptions and make more of what the organization already knows available when decisions are being prepared. You remain responsible for direction, judgment and the decisions themselves.Over time, the aim is not simply to help you make individual decisions better. It is to evolve the way you lead as complexity grows, so that better thinking, clearer choices, stronger ownership and more coordinated execution increasingly become part of how you and the organization operate. That means less leadership capacity lost to avoidable decision friction, better allocation of capital and organizational resources, and more of what you invest in product, technology, innovation and transformation turning into customer value and sustainable growth. That is what the Leadership Growth System makes possible.
Think better together as complexity grows
As complexity increases, becoming a stronger leader does not mean becoming the person who has more of the answers. It increasingly means becoming better at seeing a situation from more than one perspective, recognizing which perspectives and knowledge are missing, and bringing the relevant intelligence into the picture before making the call.Thinking better together doesn't mean thinking the same.Different perspectives should not be flattened into one shared opinion. Their value comes from allowing different parts of the reality to genuinely inform the thinking behind an important choice. That does not mean everyone makes the decision or that everyone has to agree. It means you can exercise your judgment from a richer understanding of the reality rather than relying only on the perspectives that happen to be closest, most familiar or most influential. The AI layer helps bring distributed knowledge, perspectives and learning together. The human layer sets direction, makes sense of what emerges, exercises judgment and makes the strategic decisions. As complexity grows, the quality of your decisions depends not only on what you personally know, but increasingly on how well you can draw on the intelligence distributed around you.
Who the Leader Cohort is for
The cohort is for leaders whose role increasingly connects strategy, growth and execution. You may be:
founder or co-founder preparing the organization for its next stage of growth
CEO leading a growing or transforming business
Chief Product, Technology or Digital Officer
senior product, innovation or transformation leader
General Manager or Business Unit Leader
another senior leader responsible for growth and decisions that increasingly cut across teams and functions
You do not need to be experiencing a crisis. However, you may already be feeling the effects of increased complexity, or you may want to develop stronger ways of thinking, deciding and leading before those patterns start limiting growth.
You may recognize some of these
Decisions that once may have felt straightforward now involve more people, perspectives and dependencies.
You are carrying too much of the whole picture yourself.
Important choices take more time and energy as the organization grows.
Different teams naturally see different parts of the situation, and bringing those views together can be difficult.
Important decisions can depend too much on who happens to be in the room and whose perspective carries the most weight.
You are not always confident that the organization is putting its capital, time, attention, expertise and energy into the opportunities that can create the greatest value.
You want people closer to customers and execution to make stronger decisions without everything having to come back to you.
Valuable knowledge and learning exists around the organization, but it does not always reach the places where it could make the greatest difference.
You want to use AI to strengthen thinking and decision-making without outsourcing human judgment to it.
You can see that the next stage of growth will require something different from you as a leader.
A real implementation, not a leadership course
The Leader Cohort follows the same core Leadership Growth journey used in organizational implementations. The difference is how you enter the system. In the cohort, you are the primary point of application. You work with your own real growth decisions, priorities, organizational patterns and leadership challenges while moving through the Leadership Growth stages alongside a small group of other senior leaders. You learn the principles together. You apply them to your own organization. There is no requirement to share confidential company information with the cohort.
Shared learning, private application
The cohort gives you access to the thinking and experience of other senior leaders without requiring you to expose sensitive business information. The common sessions focus on the Leadership Growth principles, methods, patterns and leadership capabilities that apply across organizations.Your company-specific work stays private. Each participant has:
a private Slack channel with me for questions, reflection and company-specific work
their own dedicated AI workspace for applying the Leadership Growth System within the AI environment they or their organization use and approve
space to work privately with confidential decisions, information and organizational material without sharing it with the cohort
individual support as the work becomes more specific to their leadership context
Where appropriate, your team or other people in your organization can also become part of the work as we proceed in the cohort.Direct competitors will not be placed in the same cohort.

What you develop through the cohort
The aim is not to give you another leadership framework to remember. It is to help you develop a way of leading that you can keep using.Over the course of the cohort, you work toward:
stronger judgment in complex situations
greater clarity about what deserves focus and investment
greater confidence in how you allocate capital and organizational resources
better use of the knowledge and perspectives already around you
faster, better-prepared decisions
clearer ownership and stronger delegated decision-making
less dependence on you as the person who has to connect everything
greater ability to lead across functions and different perspectives
more intentional use of AI as a thinking partner without giving up human responsibility or judgment
leadership patterns that can continue to support growth as the organization becomes more complex
Why a cohort?
Leadership through complexity can be surprisingly isolating. The challenges may be different across companies, but many of the underlying patterns are not.A small cohort gives you the opportunity to think alongside other leaders facing consequential growth and transformation choices, see your own situation from different perspectives and learn from how others are approaching similar questions. At the same time, the work that is specific to your company remains yours. The cohort is intentionally small, with up to 10 leaders, so there is room for meaningful discussion, individual attention and trust.
Human-led, AI-supported
AI can make more of what an organization already knows available to a leader. It can connect signals, challenge assumptions, surface patterns and help you explore a decision from perspectives that might otherwise remain separate. But it does not decide what future you are trying to create. It does not carry responsibility for the judgment. And it cannot replace the human capability to recognize what matters and make the call.Throughout the cohort, you learn to use AI as a genuine thinking partner while keeping direction, judgment and responsibility firmly human.
The Leadership Growth System can begin with you
You do not need to redesign your whole organization before you can start changing how you lead within it.The Leader Cohort allows you to begin with your own leadership, your own real decisions and the situations that matter now.As your way of working evolves, you can bring more of it into your team and organization where it creates value.
